A Responsive Experience

A responsive website is simply a website that gracefully responds to the screen it is being viewed on. The elements of a responsive page, slide and shift into a readable order. In general, this happens very naturally and does not require a lot of extra styling. Most elements don't change drastically but there are some changes that are standard when a page is reduced to mobile size. For example, the main menu of a website is generally reduced to a dropdown. Sometimes other elements are altered slightly to be optimized for mobile viewing. The easiest way to tell if a website is responsive is to change the size of your browser by grabbing a corner and shrinking or expanding the window. See the example below.
